Level 1: Standard Charging

Level 1 charging uses a standard 120V household outlet with the Ford Mobile Charging Cable. It’s also convenient to keep in your vehicle for emergency charging or occasional top-ups. Using Level 1 charging, a Ford F-150 Lightning with an extended-range battery can reach a full charge (up to 100%) in approximately 95 hours.

Level 2: Faster Home Charging

Level 2 charging is ideal for overnight use. It can be achieved through a 240V home-installed Ford Connected Charge Station or Charge Station Pro, or by using the Ford Mobile Charging Cable with a 32A connector. Level 2 charging is also available at select workplaces and public charging locations. With this level, a fully depleted F-150 Lightning extended-range battery can be charged to 100% in about 14 hours.

Level 3: DC Fast Charging

For quick charging while traveling, DC fast charging stations are available through public networks such as the BlueOval Charge Network. Level 3 DC fast charging can bring an F-150 Lightning with an extended-range battery to a full charge (up to 100%) in roughly 40 minutes.
